Madras high court has said that it will hear the PIL Over conferring  Bharat Ratna to cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and scientist CNR Rao on tuesday....
The PIL states that relevant amendments have not been made to confer Bharat Ratna on a Sportsperson. The Additional Solicitor General for India P Wilson filed a memo on Monday in the HC giving details of relevant amendments. The matter has now been posted for Tuesday. The petition states that mandatory norms of presidential notification had been violated.
The first bench comprising of Chief Justice RK Agrawal and Justice M Santayana had adjourned the PIL by advocate Kanakasabai till  2ND DEC, when it had come up for admission on November 29th.
A personal from Uttar Pradesh has already challenged Bharat Ratna for Sachin Tendulkar before a court. The Election Commission of India (ECI) has also received a complaint against conferring Bharat Ratna to Tendulkar.
